You can fill with any depth value the Liquid Precipitation Depth (penultimate column, http://bigladdersoftware.com/epx/docs/8-3/auxiliary-programs/energyplus-weather-file-epw-data-dictionary.html#field-liquid-precipitation-depth).

As an alternative (longer one) you can write "0" in the Present Weather Observation column (http://bigladdersoftware.com/epx/docs/8-3/auxiliary-programs/energyplus-weather-file-epw-data-dictionary.html#field-present-weather-observation) and nine digits, with the second different from 9 (e.g. 929999999) in Present Weather Codes column (http://bigladdersoftware.com/epx/docs/8-3/auxiliary-programs/energyplus-weather-file-epw-data-dictionary.html#field-present-weather-codes)

Does anyone know which column of the EPW the "IsRaining" variable checks to determine whether it is raining or not. What values in the EPW column is it looking for to make that descision? I would like to edit an EPW so that I can add some control on rain events in my model
