Hi Alberto,
VRF loops and air loops are separate loops so you can use heat recovery in the air loop as you normally would. You can also provide dedicated outdoor air directly to the VRF unit via an outdoor air mixer (not via an air loop) but you cannot use heat recovery with the direct outdoor air mixer option.
