[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Ground heat transfer

I'm working on a few tests for comparison and I can share them if it's of interest. I was hoping someone out there had some insight about why there were two models that appear to be talking past each other, so to speak, that have both received attention in recent releases, and that don't appear to have recent references (i.e., they don't seem to be new improved models based on new research).

The groundDomain does not require air temperatures since it's not a preprocessor, which is why it's nice. Both allow defining the slab size. For the preprocessor, this simplest way (that I know of) to do this is in the GroundHeatTransfer:Slab:AutoGrid object.
