Pretty much if you're not getting errors in the 7.1 run, you
have a valid 7.1 run.

Make sure you have "DisplayAllWarnings"
(Output:Diagnostics,DisplayAllWarnings;) on.

There have been numerous changes including the switch from Fortran source
to c++ source in the course of things from V7.1 to V8.3.  During
releases, there should be files included the detail some of the
changes.
