[EnergyPlus_Support] Zone HVAC radiative heating energy on different floors are extremely different
Dear Users,
My model is a multi-story residential building that has an under-floor heating system with hot water. I calculated "Zone HVAC radiative heating energy". The set-point temperatures and heating hours are all same in all zones.
The result showed that heating energy in Zones on 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th floors are too high (if 100 kWh/m2) while heating energy in zones on 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th and 10th floors are too low (less than 10kWh/m2).
What I wonder is that all settings are the same in each zone, but how heating energy in zones on different floors are extremely different? Though, I guess heat flow effects on upper and lower floors very actively.
If I want to reduce this effect, what can I do? Please help me.
Regards,
HJ
