Hi Jim
Thanks for your respond. I know how to insert material properties in material field. But I am wondering that if a material had a lot of small holes like pumice, is there another field to fill out in E+ or not.
Thanks in advance
Rose
ÂRose,If you know density, conductivity and thickness for the pumice you can define it within E+. I doubt that there is an example file which uses pumice, but you can adjust the properties of any material in an example file and rename it.This can be done in the IDF Editor, DesignBuilder or OpenStudio.--On Tue, Oct 13, 2015 at 1:52 PM, Rose Martin rose.arch2014@xxxxxxxxx [EnergyPlus_Support] <EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:ÂHi everybody
How can I model a wall in which a porous material like pumice is used in E+ please? Is there any example file for this?
