Hi Rose,
You can add: Output:VariableDictionary, regular,Name; at the end of your .idf text file and run E+. As a result, you will get the .rdd file that contains all possible E+ output variable names. From that list look for the keyword "comfort". You will get all the following results:

Zone,Sum,Facility Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Simple Model Summer Clothes Not Comfortable Time [hr]
Zone,Sum,Facility Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Simple Model Summer or Winter Clothes Not Comfortable Time [hr]
Zone,Sum,Facility Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Simple Model Winter Clothes Not Comfortable Time [hr]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Adaptive Model 80% Acceptability Status []
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Adaptive Model 90% Acceptability Status []
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Adaptive Model Running Average Outdoor Air Temperature [C]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Adaptive Model Temperature [C]
Zone,Sum,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Simple Model Summer Clothes Not Comfortable Time [hr]
Zone,Sum,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Simple Model Summer or Winter Clothes Not Comfortable Time [hr]
Zone,Sum,Zone Thermal Comfort ASHRAE 55 Simple Model Winter Clothes Not Comfortable Time [hr]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort Clothing Surface Temperature [C]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort Clothing Value [clo]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort Fanger Model PMV []
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort Fanger Model PPD [%]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort Mean Radiant Temperature [C]
Zone,Average,Zone Thermal Comfort Operative Temperature [C]

Last, as Jean suggested, at the E+ example files folder (C:\EnergyPlusV8-2-0\ExampleFiles) I found the following .idf files that look into comfort. E.g, DisplacementVent_Nat_AirflowNetwork_AdaptiveComfort.idf OR FurnaceWithDXSystemComfortControl.idf

Hope that helps to get you started.
Best,
Alex

Search the input output reference guide. Then look in the excel table in the examples folder for examples with the object names that you found in the guide.

Hi everybody
Dear E+ users, is there any appropriate  E+ example file for thermal comfort modeling and also which Ù?building parameters and E+ outputs are usually important for thermal comfort modeling in E+ please? If everybody has any idea, i would be so grateful to share his information for the group.
Thanks so much
Rose
