Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Output:Table:Monthly question EnergyPlus version 7.0

Hello Chris

Suggest using:

Output:Table:SummaryReports,
    AllSummaryAndMonthly;              !- Report 1 Name

and

OutputControl:Table:Style,
    TabAndHTML;                    !- Column Separator

this will produce a lighting summary in the html or tab delimited summary output reports as follows below:

Hi,

It does seem like it would produce it.

Do you have stuff in your html file? Or no HTML file at all? Check your OutputControl:Table:Style object

OutputControl:Table:Style,
  HTML;                    !- Column Separator

Alternatively, feel free to share the idf file for which you can't generate this report and I'll have a look.

Julien

I am a newbie to EnergyPlus.

I am working with the ADEG EnergyPlus models and the Commercial Reference Building EnergyPlus models. I noticed that the Commercial Building EnergyPlus model HTML results report includes the Zone Interior Electric loads in a monthly table report. The AEDG model HTML results table doesnâ??t include this report. In comparing the IDFs, I found the following in the ASHRAE90.1_SchoolSecondary_STD2013_Chicago.idf file:

Output:Table:Monthly,

Building Loads - Electric,  !- Name

  2,                       !- Digits After Decimal

Zone Lights Electric Energy,  !- Variable or Meter 1 Name

SumOrAverage,            !- Aggregation Type for Variable or Meter 1

Zone Lights Electric Energy,  !- Variable or Meter 2 Name

Maximum,                 !- Aggregation Type for Variable or Meter 2

Zone Electric Equipment Electric Energy,  !- Variable or Meter 3 Name

SumOrAverage,            !- Aggregation Type for Variable or Meter 3

Zone Electric Equipment Electric Energy,  !- Variable or Meter 4 Name

Maximum;                 !- Aggregation Type for Variable or Meter 4

Assuming that this is the code that adds the Zone Interior Electric loads report, I copied that bit into the ADEG model input file. After running, the zone tables arenâ??t included in the HTML report.

Note the ASHRAE90.1_SchoolSecondary_STD2013_Chicago.idf was run with version 8.0. I am using version 7.0 as that is what the AEDG model was run with.

Is there something else I have to add to the input file to get those zone reports to show up?

Thanks!
