[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: meter “Water Systems” for boiler
EnergyPlus does allow you to set an end use category for plug loads and lights, but it will always designate energy use of a Boiler:HotWater object as heating. If you have a single boiler dedicated only for service hot water, then you can use an Output:Variable or Output:Meter object to report the boiler's energy use in a CSV output file. If the boiler that provides service hot water also provides heating, then you'll have to do some external checks to determine how much energy use is associated with SHW vs HW.
