In my opinion e+ is the best software, baring CFD exactly because it can incorporates human comfort driven window ventiltion using in-built functions and or bespoke functions (EMS) based not only on adaptative THERMAL comfort, but many other comfort and non-comfort factors. Furthermore, it took many foundational algorithms from leading multinodal pressure network solvers like CONTAM and incorporated many other improvements and additions. It can even model the ductwork to some degree.
It does NOT model large HORIZONTAL openings well. Vertical openings is not an issue.
If there is anything missing that can't be achieved with bespoke EMS, it even allows co-simulation through the FMU interface.
I should warn that this is a specialist area in building simulation. If you state your goals, we can offer guidance on the appropriate way forward.
If you like you can google my name to find a paper on the subject from not too long ago. Since then Dr Gu implemented a simplified functionality for e+ based on that work for the main factor (thermal comfort).

I am a new user of EnergyPlus. My feeling is EnergyPlus is designed for central HVAC buildings, which has  limited capabilities for modelling natural ventilations -large openings and cracks, and adaptive thermal comfort model has not been implemented yet. Please correct me.
I downloaded open source coded in Fortran, where to download coed in C++?
