[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Equivalent Full Load Hours - EFLH

EFLH is the ratio of the kwh/yr to max kW demand, so any energy modeling software should normally calculate that. The most accurate estimate requires modeling the exact building with its specific operating conditions, if you don't want to model your building and need an estimate of the EFLH, there are studies of typical building prototypes developed for the DOE which results can be a good general guidance if your project is in the US.

Wondering if anyone have seen similar analysis for non US building prototypes that can be used to estimate the EFLH for different climate zones and building prototypes  whether based on energy simulation or simpler a spreadsheet tool

There are actually quite powerful flexible customizable objects in e+ that can do this sort of thing, but I don't know anyone except Brent, who knows how to use them. I also cant remember what they're called.

Any suggestions please on different approaches to arrive to accurate estimates of EFLH for any location?
