Yes you can.

In the Daylighting:ReferencePoint object you will insert the X, Y, and Z coordinates so the sensor is located near the ceiling. Then in the Daylighting:Controls object you will have to change "Glare Calculation Azimuth Angle of View Direction Clockwise from Zone y-Axis {deg}" from 0 to 180.

Take a look at the DaylightingDeviceShelf.idf at the EnergyPlus example file folder.
