I think you might be thinking of ASHRAE instead of EnergyPlus. ASHRAE has produced the IWEC2 collection of weather files for 3,012 international (non-US or Canada) loications, which is available on a DVD from the ASHRAE (see https://www.ashrae.org/resources--publications/bookstore/climate-data-center ).
White Box Technologies, Inc. has an agreement with ASHRAE to sell the IWEC2 weather files on the Web, either for individual cities, country sets, or even the entire DVD collection. When you purchase IWEC2 weather files from WBT, you will get not just the archival *IW2.CSV format, but also other formats such as EPW reaadable by EnergyPlus or *.BINM readable by eQUEST.
You can get either single IWEC2 weather files for Amman city
airport (JOR_AMMAN-AP_402700) or Amman Queen Alia Airport (JOR_
JOR_AMMAN-QUEEN-ALIA-AP_402720_IW2), the country set for Jordan
with 9 locations, or the entirel MENA (Middle East North Africa)
region with 151 weather files.

Dears! I have been searching for EPW weather files for Jordan, I don't seem to have any luck. Please help, I thought Energy Plus sold a CD with world climate data, but the free downloadable ones on its site did not include any middle east country. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
