It's an empirical model of the refrigeration system. For single speed models there is a single set of performance curves that determine overall system performance. For two-speed systems there are 2 sets of performance curves. These curves define the "system" capacity and EIR at various operating conditions. Whether the single-speed model has 10 compressors and 8 condenser fan stages, or some other combination, or just a single compressor and condenser fan does not matter. What matters is that the performance curves reflect how that specific system performs at various indoor/outdoor conditions and part-load operation. On 5/10/2017 3:48 AM,
