Put them in series on the same supply branch of the shw use loop, the stratified tank before the instantaneous one.
But more importantly, set your plant loop demand calculation scheme to SequantialLoad and use a plant equipment operation heating load with the stratified tank first in the priority range.

I'm simulating a SWHS with a storage tank horizontal and stratified (waterHeater:stratified) plus a Instantaneous Heater as backup (waterHeater:mixed). However, I realized that the Instantaneous Heater does not use the water heated in the stratified tank, but the cold water.
