Instructor:Â Christine Tiffin
Christine works at the juncture of architecture and engineering to help project teams make healthier and more environmentally-conscious design decisions. She has contributed to a variety of commercial, mixed-use, residential, interior, and urban design projects at a wide range of scales. Her areas of focus include embodied carbon, green building rating systems, whole-building life cycle assessment, healthy buildings and materials, daylighting, and the externalities associated with building material resource extraction, processing, and manufacture. Christine was educated at Harvard University and is currently a member of the Sustainability Engineering Studio at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in San Francisco.
