Dear Fellow Researchers,

I am simulating a basic Vapor Compression system (e.g.. Window Airconditioner ) serving a small building in EnergyPlus.

Before I continue, I will like to find out, whether a user is able to specify the following in EnergyPlus and how can it be done alternatively for the simulation of Annual Energy Consumption of the system.

1. Refrigerant type (e.g. R407C)

2. Refrigerant Amount (in Grams or Kg)

I couldn't locate a related example file or information on it in the documentation files.

Your help is much appreciated on advance. Thank you

PS: Am still new and getting used to EnergyPlus
