Brendan - perhaps you could model it with skylights on a sloped roof?  Or maybe  create another floor with windows in DD for your clearstory?

Does anyone have good method for modeling clearstories.  The clearstories are on a southern zone but facing to the north.
Can this be done in the DD wizard, or do I need to be in the Detailed Interface?
