[Equest-users] FC RA Path?

Make the system a SZRH. Just make sure heating and cooling do not
operate simultaneously. I think all other parameters are relatively the
same. Look at the SYSTEMS diagrams in the DOE-2.2 Topics manual and see
what system most closely mimics the fan coil.

Subject: [Equest-users] FC RA Path?

Howdy folks,

I am trying to model several fan-coil units serving a classroom each.
The problem is that I need eQuest to simulate that the return air going
to the fan coils is coming from the plenum. Inside of the system
properties screen, the option to select my return air path is grayed
out, despite the fact that I created the building with a plenum space.
My hourly report that I am running on the plenum hourly temperature
would lead me to believe that the model is taking return air from the
space. Is there any way to change this, or is there any workaround I can
use to model this system with plenum air?

Thanks,
Gary Schrader
