eQuest Users,
Thank you for all the help with changing my building floorplan in the detail edit mode. I have been successful in updating the floorplan of my building. In doing so, however, I seem to have created another issue. In altering the floorplan, I created about 12 new zones (with their associated plenum zones). Now when the file loads up, I get a warning message for 5 of the newly created plenum zones saying that they have delayed walls but no delayed floor or ceiling. I have attached a screenshot. What does this mean, and how do I get rid of it. Also, why am I having this issue with only a few of the new zones and not the rest. I believe I created them all the same way. And also, plenum zones (as I understand them) do not have floors or ceilings, just walls and a roof (if at all). Is this correct? I searched through the archives and saw that some people have solved this issue in the past by entering 70lbs/ft2 for the Floor Weight under the 'Contents' tab of the space properties. This however, has not worked for me as I still get the same warning. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Another issue that I'm having is with zonal exhaust makeup through infiltration. I've got several zones in my building that have a dedicated exhaust fan. However, all the air is not made up through the central air handling unit. A portion of it is transfer air from adjacent zones. I was under the impression that the way to accomplish this was to select "Balanced Infiltration" under the 'Outdoor Air' tab for the Air Side HVAC window of the zone in question. When I do this, however, my hours outside throttling range skyrocket by about 3000 hours. Is there a procedure for properly modeling zonal exhaust makeup through transfer air? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Again, thank you all for the great deal of help I've received so far. This mailing list is awesome!!!
