[Equest-users] eQuest fan Power

Hi Scott,

 

In Baseline system, First of all you have to calculate Fan BHP as per G
3.12.9, and then with the help of calculated BHP you can derive the Fan
power (kW) as per section G3.1.29, then you can calculate the kW/CFM for
each system. 

 

Now, you can put this kW/CFM multiplier in eQuest at Design kW/CFM in system
tab/Fan/Fan Flow parameters (Sample attached).

 

If kW/CFM tab is not activate on your system, go on side tab static (in WG)
and do default, then kW/CFM tab will be activate.

Hello all,

 

Can anyone tell me how to enter the Supply fan power, in watts, and the
brake horsepower  of the baseline fans into my model?  I calculated them
according to ASHRAE 90.1, but can't figure out what to do with them now.
