[Equest-users] ASHRAE 90.1 Minimum Efficiency As of Date

Dear All,

When you look at the some of the equipment in the efficiency tables
6.8.1x, some minimum efficiences are given with "before" and "as of"
dates. What do these dates signify? The manufacturing date of the
equipment? The start of operations in the building? The date of filling
out these forms? Because we are in 2010, there is a big difference with
COP values in some of the equipment before 1/1/2010 and as of 1/1/2010 and
I would like to know how to approach this.
