I have had a problem with pitched roofs not generating properly in 3.63. and I had hoped that this new version would fix the problem but I was disappointed.
I seem to get a lot of weird shaped roofs to model and it is not possible to get EQ to model them.
To show you what I mean, I drew a rectangle in AutoCad and put a rectangular bay window on it, then I rotated it to several bearings and tried to get Eq to put a pitched roof on it. The 0, 90, 180 and 270 versions worked well. But any oddball bearing causes the program to crash.
I noticed that the polygon coordinates in the input page all are rounded off to .00 or .05 and you cannot change them, even if they are incorrect.
This small error in coords. is not significant if the length of the side is large. However if the length is small, as in the side of the bay window then the bearing is out of tolerance and the program throws an error.
This could be corrected by letting the coords decimal points increase to 4 or 5 places.
Attached is the Cad file I used if any of you want to try it.
Regards
Joe
