[Equest-users] OA from System

Hi Anusha,

The only way I have found is to output hourly-reports from eQuest from the Projects & Site tab. That being said, I ran a simple model of "OA from system" over 70 times and could not find a controls configuration that will vary the outside air volume on an hourly basis. There were several configurations of OA controls between the two Air Systems and even with all systems being variable air volume, the "OA from system" system seems to only be size for an outside air volume and then if any unit needs air, the fan kicks on and runs at a constant cfm.

If you find a good method of setting up this system, I would love to hear any advice / discoveries you make.

Below is a screen shot of where you create hourly reports in eQuest. This will add a button to the SIM file at the top right that says "Hourly Results". Click that button and it will open a csv file in excel with 8760 rows, one for each hour.

How do I cross check if my "OA from system" is actually working? I looked at the sim output file and my systems that are pulling air from DOA (dummy zone) still shows zero outside air. Am I doing something wrong. Please help.
