Actually, there is a wizard option to place new shells adjacent to conditioned space, which can reduce the need to delete extraneous surfaces.

You could define three different shells in the wizard, like the layers of a cake and then blow away the floors and roof of the intermediate zone intersections. This would be similar to approaching the shipping and retail space like atriums.

Hello modelling gurus,

Can someone show me how to effectively construct the geometry for this retail building in eQuest?  I’ve drawn a sketch of the space layouts (see attached).  Basically the building has mezzanine offices at the front and the rear, and I’m having difficulties adding them to eQuest.  I am trying to have 1 space per zone (i.e. entire retail space as one zone).
