[Equest-users] how to customize a pitched roof based on CAD roof plan

Hi Equesters,
 
I am modelling a building with pitched roof.  The roof plan is much larger than the top floor plan (area) and it is complicated (flat and different angles).  Does anyone use CAD drawing to customize the roof?  How to do it?
