You can also "right-click" on any field (such as a schedule) and select
"View Default/Range".  In the case of a schedule, it will tell you what
schedule types apply - in this case Fraction and Multiplier.

Here is what I end up doing sometimes. Look in the drop down list where you
want to allocate the parking schedule to see which existing schedules show
up as a choice. Then look at one of these schedules to see the type - that
is the type that you need. If multiplier is not working and this is for
lighting - you might try fraction.

PHOTOCELL-CTRL

Accepts a code-word specifying whether the hourly value in the referenced
DAY-SCHEDULE can be overridden either ON (value = 1.0) or OFF ( value = 0.0)
according to whether it is day or night.

DAY-OFF                     Forces the hourly schedule value to be 0.0
whenever the sun is up.

DAY-ON                       Forces the hourly schedule value to be 1.0
whenever the sun is up.

NIGHT-OFF                  Forces the hourly schedule value to be 0.0
whenver the sun is down.

NIGHT-ON                   Forces the hourly schedule value to be 1.0
whenever the sun is down.

For example, assume lighting in a parking lot is to be on from dusk until 11
p.m. The earliest the lights are allowed to illuminate is 4 p.m., but will
not actually start until the sun is down:

"Parking Lot DSch" = DAY-SCHEDULE-PD
TYPE               = ON/OFF
VALUES             = ( 0., 0., 0., 0., 0., 0.,
                       0., 0., 0., 0., 0., 0.,
                       0., 0., 0., 1., 1., 1.,
                       1., 1., 1., 1., 1., 0. )

"Parking Lot WSch" = WEEK-SCHEDULE-PD
TYPE               = ON/OFF
DAY-SCHEDULES      = ("Parking Lot DSch")
..

"Parking Lot Sch" = SCHEDULE-PD
TYPE               = ON/OFF
PHOTOCELL-CTRL     = DAY-OFF
MONTH              = (12)
DAY                = (31)
WEEK-SCHEDULES     = ("Parking Lot WSch")

Hi Arash,

 

If your custom schedules are created and appear in the component tree on the
left, and the schedule names are not appearing in the appropriate dropdown
menu, odds are your custom schedules are either the wrong schedule type
(TYPE = MULTIPLIER in this case) or the full day/week/annual schedules are
not set up completely.  

 

If the first suggestion should be the issue, I advise always right-clicking
the corresponding input field to review any pertinent help file entries
before embarking on any custom scheduling efforts.

Hi All,

 

I added my exterior lighting power densities directly at direct loads under
electric meter, and I created Parking Lot Sch, Parking Lot WSch, Parking Lot
DSch.

 

My question is how can I connect the Sch to Exterior loads, because right
now under Schedule I do not have this Parking Lot Sch.
