Easy to answer at least... afraid not!  There is no "pan" feature to complement the rotate/zoom features.

That said, if you find yourself unable to capture the full extents of your project in a single view, you might try the following
1. Use someone else's workstation with a higher resolution monitor
2. play with "unmaximizing" the eQuest window then stretching that window's dimensions to an aspect ratio that works for fitting your project in a single view
