I have encountered the "INPUT DATA MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE SYSTEM COMMAND"  message once and when I opened the .inp file there was basically nothing under the HVAC Systems / Zones  portion. I am still not sure what could have caused this but immediately prior to this I had experienced  multiple crashes while working on the geometry of a fairly complex model. Anyway all I did was copy in the system/zone info from a previous version of the inp file and with a few  minor adjustments in zone names etc. was able to recover my project without any loss.

I hope this is somewhat helpful

ronny

Hi All,
I keep getting this error whenever I try to Simulate Building Performance.
"generateBDLInputFromWizardData()Error: Installing EEM run (Measure component)."  Often leading to a crash.

Which is then followed by....
> INPUT DATA MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE SPACE COMMAND (lLineNum = 1000000)
>
> INPUT DATA MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE SYSTEM COMMAND (lLineNum = 1000000)
>
> INPUT DATA MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE ZONE COMMAND (lLineNum = 1000000)

Ive run the model for a month before and then this started happening just recently after I decided to "save as" into a new folder because the original project folder was getting cluttered.  However, it now happens to all versions of the model.

Has anyone encountered this?  Maybe saving the file outside of the equest projects directory did it?

Thanks!

Sounds to me like you're working in the wizard mode and somehow only have the .pd2 file in the directory.  Try going back into the wizard (assuming you haven't done any detailed edits) and rebuilding the geometry.

I've only ever seen the error messages you're receiving when for some reason I had an incomplete .inp file.

Generally when posting random questions about your program not working it helps for you to attach the .pd2 and .inp files for others to take a look, otherwise all we can do is guess.
