[Equest-users] Placing Chillers in series in eQUEST.

Short answer is that you can't put them in series. You have to place them in as one combined chiller. I would contact the manufacturer or a sales rep to and get performance info for the two chillers combined that you can use to generate custom performance curves. If you look on the archives the are several discussions on generating those curves.

Hi all,
I need to do the design simulation for two chillers in series in eQUEST .i.e. first chiller will serve 8 delta T and then second chiller will serve 8 delta T. But when I insert two chillers it automatically places them in parallel and I cannot find any option to change from parallel to series. Can anyone help me out on how to place them in series.
