[Equest-users] Zone names - Bug/issue

Singhal,

There have been some issues with eQUEST locking up while changing space names in the wizard. I typically wait until I'm in the Detailed Interface to rename spaces and zones. If you must do it in the wizard, try the suggestions in this post from a few years ago:

Hi everyone

I am trying to rename my zones and it's a new file. My eQuest freezes when I try to rename the zones/spaces. It happened with me 6-7 times and I decided to start work from scratch again but I got the same problem. Although such thing never happened with me in past when I tried to rename the zones for other projects. Couple of things here:


1.      There is no other app/software running on my computer.

2.      Window task manager says that eQuest is still running, so I waited for even half an hour to see if unfreeze by itself. Didn't work

3.      The given block is 25,000 sq ft although the adjacent block is a warehouse with area almost 1 million sq ft for one floor plate.

Can someone tell what's the reason of this issue or is it a bug?
