[Hap-users] How to added treated cooled fresh air

HAP only allows one system per space, so your choices are to either 1.) select a system that incorporates all of the components, 2.) split a room into multiple spaces and assign different systems to each space or 3.) use the system sizing results from HAP as inputs to design your own equipment using a spreadsheet or other engineering tools. Experience and your best engineering judgment needs to be applied with all of these options.

If System #1 “cooling fresh air” is providing the majority of the cooling and System #2 “fan coil unit” is providing heating only, then you would select the appropriate system type for System #1 and then add the Fan Coils under the “Zone Components: Zone Heating Units” tab of the Systems screen.

If System #1 “cooling fresh air” is only providing tempered ventilation air, then you should probably select “Terminal Units” as your system type and then “Common Ventilation Unit” (see Help 30.0 Terminal Unit Systems”

I hope this helps.
