Dear trnsys users,

Hello, I'm a user of TRNSYS 16.

I have to simulation about radiant floor cooling using active layer.

For simulation, first I modeled one zone with 6 walls. And, boundary condition of all walls set to same outside dry bulb temperature (no solar radiation).

Zone's initial conditons were set to 30C, 65%(experiment values).

For example, supply water temperature is 40C, flowrate is 150kg/hr.

After simulation initial temperature of floor construction with active layer was different other walls.

results=>

*Floor constuction: initial inside wall temp.=25C, initial outside wall temp.=20C

*Ceiling, other vertical walls: initial inside wall temp.=30C, initial outside wall temp.=30C

My Question!!!

Why is not the floor construction's inside temperaure 30C like other walls?

Why always same initial temperature(inside wall temp.=25C, outside wall temp.=20C) in floor construction with active layer?

Why not change?

Someone who knows something about this, please help..

Best regards,
