It sounds like you are trying a cosimulation approach like using
Functional Mock-up Units. As far as I know this has not yet been done
with TRNSYS and you will need to work through the process yourself. In
the interim you may want to look at the Building Control Virtual Test
Bed (BCVTB) from LBNL in the US.
