Hello,
Thank you for your answer Timothy,
I try to change the design ambient air temperature to 26.67, but it isn’t run (all other design parameters have their default value). Maybe I forget something, but I don’t know what.

Maxence -
You are correct, there is a problem with the default values in the Type511 Proforma. If you change the Design Ambient Air Temperature to 26.67 C it should run.
Regards,
Tim

Hello,
I would like to use a type 511 (HVAC Library (TESS) – Dry Fluid Cooler), but it doesn't work.
When the value of input 2 (fluid flow rate) is higher than 0, the simulation doesn’t work and an error message appear (“TRNSYS errors : one error was found in the deck…”).
I have this error message in "list file" :
"*** Fatal Error at time : 0.125000
Generated by Unit : 10
Generated by Type : 511
Message : The dry cooler model was unable to correctly calculate the number of transfer units (NTU) for the design condition. Please check the design conditions carefully."
I tested the type with the defaults design conditions, but it was the same error message. I think there is a problem with input 2.
Please find attached my “.tpf” file.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely,
Maxence BUREAU
