Dear Trnsys users, I`m having trouble with type 511 dry fluid cooler. I want to cool
cooling water coming from type 668 heat pump to a set-point temperature.
To do this I have an equation connected to dry fluid
cooler`s fan control signal to control if the return fluid temperature from the ground is higher than 30 then, the Dry fluid cooler comes on. The system seems to work quite well with constant ambient temperature
but when dry cooler is connected to the return fluid temperature errors keep coming.
the error says the problem is the design parameters of the dry cooler.
Those are:
Liquid: 44 C
Fluid flow rate: 6.8 kg/s
Design ambient air: 30 C
Air flow rate: 6.8 kg/s
Rated fan power: 6 kW I have tried many different design parameters but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone have ideas how I could get my dry cooler to work properly please?
Regards,
Metkel
