[bldg-sim] Thanks - VFD speed vs. motor efficiency

Hello again

I found the article that Fred Porter recommended at ASHRAE's bookstore, in the Transactions section.
The article is titled Efficiencies of an 11.2 kW Variable Speed Motor and Drive and has metered data of both motor and drive efficiency at different loads and speeds.  Not sure how well this applies to larger motors, but it so happens that the motors I am looking at right now are in this size range, so this does the trick.

Thanks to others who pointed out the timely article in this month's Engineered Systems, as well as a previous article in ASHRAE Journal from 1999.
