LS-F (and LS-E), you must remember, list the load components for a NET
heating or cooling load;
thus a reduction of lighting load will probably cause a change in the hours
of net heating and cooling
load for both the spaces and the whole building ... thus, when you then look
at the occ/equ contributions
to the net load, they may change greatly even though the total occ/equ loads
are very close to the same
(not exactly as we are talking about net load to the spaces when some goes
out the windows and walls
via direct radiation to the surface then conduction out the other side.)

By the way, I resolved my previous OSA question. Thanks to all who
contributed..

Same school. A Base Case and a Retrofit Case.

Base Case is a central plant with 20 some air units, fixed economizer.

Retrofit Case are individual Air heat Pumps, WITH economizer. Also a
Lighting Retrofit (same operating hours).

The LS-F report shows a DOUBLING of the contribution of Occupancy AND
Equipment on the load. Same building envelope, occupancy and equipment
density, same operating schedules. And the program does NOT yet know that
the SYSTEM has changed.

Any ideas?
