[BLDG-SIM] envelope thermal performance

hi everybody

I have been following the discussions for a while and I hope to get some help. I am a graduate student in architecture studying on thermal performance of building  facades. I will work on an existing office building and try to find optimum facade properties  by altering the envelope compositions (changing wall materials and thicknesses, glazing properties, etc.) in a computer program.

I will be glad if you have any advices on which program to use for this study. I have been examining a few but couldn't find a satisfying one as far as I will only deal with envelope properties.
