Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Latent-Sensible heat

How about trying assert the PCM a large specific heat value? that way, the temperature change would be small and phase change behavier
might be approximated?

Hi,
Does an EnergyPlus calculation includes the LATENT heat storage
capacity of materials?
I want integrate Phase Change Materials into my building model.
The latent heat storage capacity of PCM occures almost without a
change in temperature and is much more as the sensible heat storage
capacity. I want show this effect. I replaced the concrete of my
Trombe Walls with PCM but the result is not as desired hence I ask
me if EnergyPlus considers the Latent heat storage capacity.
Thanks,
