Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] real weather data parametrics

And if you don't have barometric pressure or wind, the WeatherConverter
will calculate barometric pressure based on elevation and put in (your
choice) constant or variable wind.

Someone has probably already answered this but...

The WeatherConverter can read just about any
format--including spreadsheet formatted text.
Read about how to convert your data in the
Auxiliary Programs document. Also there is
discussion of the data that EnergyPlus wants
there as well, but in general you will need at least:

dry bulb temperature
some measure of humidity such as wet bulb, dew point, or relative humidity
direct solar radiation
diffuse solar radiation
wind speed
wind direction
barometric pressure

Hello, everybody:

I want to use real weather data in my simulation and comapre to the
actual energy uses. Could somebody what are the requred weather data
parametrics are required for the simulation ? For example, except the
hourly dry-bulb temperature, what are the other required parametrics? What
is the format format for the weather data?

  Thanks a lot.

  Regards,

  Zhen
