I understand the question.  I suspect it may be a bug.  Searching all of our 
example files which use COMIS openings, I find that none of them use opening 
factor #4.  Please upload your input file to the Problem Submittals folder in 
the yahoo group files area, or send it as a zipped attachment to 
energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx
