Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] other questions about plant-loop and condenser -loop.



1.  It is difficult to say what may be wrong without seeing this input file.  
Perhaps the 5ZoneBranchSupplyPumps.idf example file will help you.  I notice 
that in this example there is no bypass on the chilled water supply side.  Try 
removing the supply bypass and see if this solves the problem.

2.  Try using a variable speed condenser water pump with a linear part-load 
performance and intermittent controls.  The condenser water flow request from 
the chillers should set the condenser loop flow rate and the pump should follow 
it.  So the pumping eneryg should be the same as if there were two different 
pumps turning on and off.
