[EnergyPlus_Support] Fan coil system problems

Dear all,

I¡¯m modeling a building with a two-pipe fan coil system. There is no
two-pipe fancoil system in EnergyPlus, so I had to use uses a
¡°fancoil unit:4 pipe¡± object in my simulation model. I used the
dual setpoint with deadband thermostat controls and let the heating
and cooling coil schedules control the availability, but the
simulation results of the variable ¡°Zone/Sys sensible heating
energy¡± showed that the system was supplying heating all the hours
in both summer and winter seasons, even beyond the working hours,
and the result of variable ¡°Zone/Sys sensible cooling energy¡±
showed that the system is supplying cooling in the working hours in
summer, but it supplies both cooling and heating in some working
hours in winter, especially in the first working hour according to my
schedule. And also, I got the variables of ¡°Total Water Heating
Coil Energy¡± and ¡°Total Water Cooling Coil Energy¡±, and these two
variables show that the coil operation for cooling in summer is right
according to my schedule, the ¡°Total Water Cooling Coil Energy¡± is
zero in winter, and the ¡°Total Water Heating Coil Energy¡± is zero
in summer too, but the coil for heating only operated in the first
hour of some working days in winter. I don¡¯t know why these happen,
could you help me?

In addition, I¡¯d like to get the cooling load and heating load, can
I use the value of the ¡°Total Water Heating Coil Energy¡± and
¡°Total Water Cooling Coil Energy¡± for the cooling load and heating
load?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best Regards,

Young
