Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Calculating Direct Normal Radiation

The hour in an EnergyPlus weather file (epw) is standard clock (legal) time at
the specified longitude and time zone. It is not adjusted for daylight savings
or "summer" time.

Illuminance for daylighting is calculated within EnergyPlus based on the direct
normal, diffuse horizontal, and present weather (2 fields) in the weather file
using models described in the Engineering Reference.
