At the moment there is not. There will be a 90.1 minimum efficiency requirement in the near future however.

For LEED purposes you do not need to model a VRV system. You will model the appendix G Table G3.1.1A system type and the associated efficiency in 90.1 chapter 6.

Subject: [Equest-users] ASHRAE 90.1-2007 - VRV

Dear all,

Is there any requirement for the COP of VRV systems in ASHRAE 90.1-2007?

I can't find that! If there is not, shall I assume that the baseline and the proposed design for LEED purposes have the same COP?

Thanks!

Omar
