[Equest-users] Interlock combustion air fan with boiler schedule

Hello eQuest community



I’ve been using eQuest on a basic to moderate level for a while, and am
starting to get into more detailed modeling.



What I have now is a building with boilers in a basement that get fresh air
from a 100% OA supply fan.  The fan is interlocked with the boilers so that
it only supplies air when the boilers are burning fuel.  The fan also has a
hot water coil to keep the air at a minimum temperature to prevent thermal
shock of the boilers.



I’m pretty sure I’ve got the heating figured out, but how do I link the fan
schedule to the boiler operation schedule?

An answer to this will definitely help in figuring out interlocking other
equipment in eQuest
