Dear BLDG-SIM subscribers,

For your information, the HYDROGEMS library for TRNSYS is now available
for free download on the TRNSYS website (http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys).

HYDROGEMS is a new library of models for simulation of building-coupled
or standalone hydrogen systems based on renewable energy. Its objective
is to provide a set of modeling tools that can be used to optimize the
design and control of RE/H2-systems. The HYDROGEMS models have been
implemented as a library compatible with the latest TRNSYS release
(15.2.07).

The library was developed by Øystein Ulleberg and is a result of more
than 7 years of modeling and simulation work performed at Institute for
Energy Technology, Norway. The available components are:

- Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell
- Alkaline Fuel Cell
- Advanced Alkaline Electrolyzer
- Photovoltaic Generator
- Wind Energy Conversion System
- Compressed Gas Storage
- Lead-acid Battery
- Diesel Engine Generator System
- Power Conditioning

If you want more details on the HYDROGEMS library or if you are
interested in downloading the files, please go to the TRNSYS website:
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys (Choose the "TRNLIB" section or use the
link in the "What's new" section).

You can also find information on the HYDROGEMS website:

Cheers,

Michaël Kummert
