Smita,
Several of my students have been doing some work in this area (i.e.,
surface temperature measurements and thermal imaging of PVs on different
rooftop applications). I forwarded your email and they will be in direct
contact with you.
Regards
Harvey Bryan

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] thermal impact of BIPV
Hi,
I am looking for research on the thermal impact of Building Integrated
PVs (BIPV). Any experimental and or simulation data of PV roof
integrations and their impact on the energy flow through the building
envelope. Has there been any comparison between the BIPVs and regular
building component heat flows, including factors such as the insulation
level, the reflectance, thermal properties of the PVs as a layer and any
shading.
Thanks,
Smita Gupta
