Ian.

We've got 24 Habitat houses analyzed n the thesis by Kootin-Sanwu in central Texas, as well as several years of meas data from one house. We are currently working on evaluating 120 houses built locally over a 10 year period to evaluate 2000 IECC code impact. Preliminary results look good at about 10% annual reduction when annalyzed with PRISM. Next step will be to use sliding PRISM since we see a curious upward trend on every new house for the first 12 months.

We have also evaluated 100,000+/yr new housing starts from 2001 to present, which can be found in the ESL. SB5 report to the TCEQ/EPA at "eslsb5.tamu.edu", or use the DOE-2 based calculator at "ecalc.tamu.edu".

Subject: [BLDG-SIM] typical house heating and cooling loads

I’m interested in comparing my heating and cooling loads for a typical ~2000 ft2 home in the following cities:

Jacksonville, FL
Charleston, SC
Memphis, TN
Astoria, OR
Pittsburgh, PA
Minneapolis, MN

I was wondering if anyone could direct me to some good published data on loads for these areas. I have already looked at the RECS data. I was hoping to compare to something else.

Thanks in Advance
